FAQ
In an emergency, how does a rescuer read the data?
They tap their phone on the sticker on your helmet — the NFC antenna is at the top of the phone, near the cameras. A notification appears and your emergency data shows up: no app, no account, no code.
Does it work with all smartphones?
Yes, with any NFC-enabled phone — practically every smartphone out there. Nothing to install: the page just opens.
Is a subscription required?
No. You pay once and it's yours. No renewals, no fees, no surprises later.
Do you need internet or a connection for it to work?
In online mode the data opens on a more readable web page (network needed); in offline mode it's written on the tag as a message and stays readable even without a connection. You choose based on your needs.
How is my data's privacy guaranteed?
Your emergency data isn't stored on our systems: it lives directly on the tag. And it's more private than an engraved bracelet, readable at a glance by anyone, or a QR code that can be photographed from a distance: the tag is only read by bringing a phone within a few centimetres.
Why not a QR code?
Because a QR can be photographed from a distance: anyone can copy it and read it whenever they want. NFC is only read on contact, within a few centimetres. And a QR that's scratched, muddy or snow-covered stops working; the chip doesn't.
Why not a cheap engraved bracelet?
Because you can update the data on the tag whenever you want, unlike an engraved bracelet. An engraved bracelet is also readable by everyone at any time.
Why is it better than the phone's Medical ID?
Because it works even when the phone is broken, locked or ends up far away in a crash. The tag stays with you.
Does it work abroad too?
Yes. NFC is a worldwide standard: anyone, anywhere, reads your tag by bringing their phone close.
Do I have to download an app?
Whoever helps you doesn't: they read the tag with a simple tap. You do, just once, to create and update your profile and write it onto the tag.
Is it resistant to rain and sun?
Yes. The sticker is waterproof and resistant to UV rays and temperature swings: no battery to charge, no maintenance.
What can I stick the tag on?
Wherever you want: you can stick the tag on any surface — bike or motorcycle helmet, skis, backpack, frame. It's resin-coated and waterproof, with industrial adhesive: stick it once and it stays put.
Can I use more than one tag?
Yes. Multiple tags on the same profile (e.g. bike helmet + motorcycle helmet) or for the whole family.
I can't read the tag, what do I do?
Check that airplane mode is off and NFC is on (Android: Settings → "NFC"; iPhone turns it on automatically). The antenna is on the back of the phone, in the centre or near the camera — higher up on iPhones. Move it slightly until it reads.
